Use of personal data

When you use our services and website, you leave certain data with us. This may include personal data. Depending on the services you use, we process the data listed below.

Depending on the services and functionalities we offer you, we may process the following personal data about you:

  • details about contracts you have entered into with us
  • information you enter yourself in an open field, such as a message in the contact form on our website

  • Cover letter
  • A copy of your passport or ID

Special and/or sensitive personal data

Our Website does not intend to collect data about website visitors who are younger than 16 years of age, unless they have permission from their parents or guardian. We cannot check whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore advise parents to be involved in the online activities of their children in order to prevent data about children being collected without parental consent. Provision to third parties

We will only pass on the information you provide to third parties if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation.

Security and storage

We take appropriate security measures to limit misuse, loss, unwanted disclosure, unauthorized modification, and unauthorized access to your personal data. We ensure that only the necessary persons have access to the data, that access to the data is protected, and that our security measures are regularly checked.

We do not store the data for longer than is necessary. This means that we store the data for as long as is necessary to provide the service you have requested. An exception to this is data that we are required to store for longer because we are obliged to do so by law. Data breach reporting protocol

We comply with the requirement of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to document all data breaches within our companies. This documentation enables the Dutch Data Protection Authority (AP) to verify whether the reporting obligation has been met in the event of a data breach.

Changes to this privacy statement

We may change this privacy statement from time to time. It is therefore advisable to consult this privacy statement regularly so that you are aware of these changes.

Accessing and changing your data

You have the right to view, correct, or delete your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw your consent to the data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by Nijkerk Ontwikkel Maatschappij B.V. and its Dutch subsidiaries. You also have the right to data portability, which means that you can submit a request to us to send your personal data that we have in a computer file to you or an organization specified by you. You can send a request for access, correction, deletion, data transfer of your personal data, or a request to withdraw your consent or object to the processing of your personal data to: privacy@nijkerk.nl a> To ensure that the request for access has been made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your ID with the request. To protect your privacy, please black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number, and Social Security Number (SSN) in this copy. We will respond to your request within four weeks.

Data Protection Authority

We are, of course, happy to help if you have any complaints about the processing of your personal data. If, despite this, we are unable to resolve the issue, you also have the right under privacy legislation to submit a complaint to the privacy regulator, the Dutch Data Protection Authority. To do so, please contact the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
