TOPPAN Launches New PCAP Optical Bonding Displays for Blanview-2 Series

25 June 2025

TOPPAN Ortustech has introduced a new PCAP optical bonding model to its renowned Blanview-2 Series, a product line celebrated for its outstanding outdoor visibility and low power consumption. The newly developed 4.3″ WVGA displays are engineered specifically for handheld applications where size, weight, and power efficiency are key. With a slim and lightweight design, they’re ideal for mobile devices used in demanding environments.

TOPPAN introduces two distinct models:

  • COM43H4P45UTC (featuring MIPI-DSI interface)

  • COM43H4P46UTC (featuring 18-bit RGB interface)

Both models offer flexibility depending on your system’s requirements.

Sleek Design Meets Smart Touch

Equipped with projected capacitive (PCAP) touch technology, these displays allow buttons and switches to be integrated directly onto the screen, enabling intuitive Human Machine Interface (HMI) designs. The result: a sleek, modern look and a smoother user experience.

Enhanced Visibility & Durability with In-House Optical Bonding

TOPPAN utilizes optical bonding technology at its own manufacturing facility in Malaysia, seamlessly combining the PCAP touch panel and TFT-LCD. This not only improves outdoor readability by reducing reflections, but also enhances overall screen durability, making it highly suitable for rugged and outdoor applications.
